I showed this to Little One, and she jumped up and down and shouted, "Dad! Hurray!" Dancer Girl saw the last one and said, "Is that me?" Honestly, I would have to go back and look at when it was taken. You guys will have to help me out :)
The last picture is dad with Dancer Girl.I loved all the pictures. Can't wait to see you tomorrow.Love you all.
I'm glad MotherKitty answered the question about the picture. I had been here earlier and went to dig into my pictures to see if I could find a picture of Long Haired Daddy when Little sister & dancer girl were that little. The girls look so much alike at that age that I thought the decision would rest on daddy's appearance. But daddy didn't change all that much...So thank you MK for clearing that up.
Happy Fathers Day
Sorry, Motherkitty, I had to go look it up for myself. Look back at the pictures, I added 2 more. One is the uncropped one of Little One and Daddy dated 2004 and the next is the same day with Dancer Girl in the pic (we were at Granmomma's 80th b day party). I was fooled myself. Somewhere I have pics of Dancer Girl in same outfit (one of her favorites), will have to dig to find one.
added one more of little Dancer Girl, same shirt, 4 mos old
Wonderful Dad. Happy Father's Day.
Great pictures! Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.I finally got around to my 7 meme's you tagged me for, you will have to check it out.
Happy Fathers Day - God bless your beautiful family. your pictures reminded me of a poem I kept:A little girl needs DaddyFor many, many things:Like holding her high off the groundWhere the sunlight sings! Like being the deep musicThat tells her all is rightWhen she awakens frantic withThe terrors of the night. Like being the great mountainThat rises in her heartAnd shows her how she might get homeWhen all else falls apart. Like giving her the loveThat is her sea and air,So diving deep or soaring highShe'll always find him there.
thanks, Franny, that is a sweet poem
