You know...I have been thinking about her little quote since you posted it and wondering about how a 2 year old would come up with it.
I'm thinking that at every meal she hears you giving the blessing and saying "Bless our food," just as you would pray, "Bless grandma & grandpa and make grandma feel better."
So, as a two year old, why not Bless the food and make it feel better too. Little one is paying very close attention. Isn't that wonderful how little minds works.
This may not be it at all...but I just wanted to let you know how this little blessing has touched my heart.
AIP, yes that is it exactly. Most of our praying is being thankful for food, meals, Daddy, family, and also praying that people who don't feel well feel better. We regularly pray for each other if we don't feel well, and also friends and family. So go ahead send your prayer requests, we will pray that your food will be all better too. I let the children pray however they want. I do not correct them at all. I just wanted to share that quote because I thought it was soooo sweet.
