Family Reunion

I just have to say I am so happy I started blogging and let my family in on it. I was surfing around today, and because of me, I read blogs from...

  • my mom
  • my dad
  • my aunt (dad's sister)
  • my dad's brother (my uncle)

I am so happy to be reading so many family stories and family history.....in case you are interested you will have to check my comments and follow the links....

Mom is Motherkitty, Dad is Tomas, Aunt is Abandoned in Pasadena, Uncle is Life at the Ranch...

I haven't kept up with my links section, my blog is pretty low-key....Now all we need is my brother, my other aunt, etc, etc.....

I need a spell check to say anything.

Yeah, it's all your fault that I spend all my days and nights online, forever checking blogs to see what's been posted and what comments have been made. I'm bleary-eyed (but happy). So, between blogging and genealogy, I spend a lot of my time online and communicating. Isn't it great?

We just got an e-mail address for one of dad's 79 y/o aunts in CA and she has promised to get her elderly sisters to e-mail us. What do you think about that?

Isn't the information age something else? We used to write letters, then we used to call, and now we just e-mail and blog and are able to communicate with each other almost instantaneously.

Yes, It's wonderful to be able to connect with family through blogging or email.

You instantaneously know what their mood for the day is by reading what they have posted...you can cheer them up with a comment or laugh at their humor.

Family blogging is like a "Domino Effect"....
and I hope soon other family members will join the ranks.

A message to Tomas:
I have a big fat Merriam-Webster Deluxe sitting on my desk for such occasions...although I sometimes don't use it.
