Yarn addiction

Well, I have done it again. I have purged my yarn stash, and given away more yarn. All my yarn and unfinished projects (mostly afghans) now fit in one large plastic tub, and one smaller one. For those of you out there who are also yarn addicts, you know that this is a big deal. Apparently the earlier standard I set for myself was unattainable. I told myself that I couldn't buy anymore yarn until I use some of the yarn I had. By getting rid of the yarn, if I want to make something now, I would have to buy new yarn. Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ah, the sacrifice is apparently a thinly veiled attempt to disguise my desire to buy new yarn for another project. All right, now I just need a pregnant friend who would just love something made out of soft yarn for her little one to drag around. Any volunteers? The white kitty Duchess is sleeping on the afghan I made for my Little One

the other one is one I made for Motherkitty

I must admit...
I am a yarn addict.

Are there YAA meetings we can attend? Are there any scheduled in your area?

I have my stash hidden in a box in the closet, but I have given away all my finished baby blankets. Yours are very pretty and it looks like your kitten really loves Little One's afghan.

Hehe. I am a yarn addict too, but I've let far too many projects go unfinished. You have some very pretty things you've made, I see. So your addiction is justified. :)

You did what!? Gasp - got rid of some yarn? I am a total addict and I keep thinking I will have some use for those small balls that are left over. I have not a single thing in my house I have crocheted - I give them all away - wait - no - I gave those Xmas ornaments away also. I do have one thing I am keeping so far a Xmas skirt for this year. I have boxes of yarn and think if I could just get it organized better I could get on with some projects.
